Do you have a vocabulary list mapped to each language level?

The GETS Scale of English was built on our existing results reporting and years of research conducted with our partner institution, QAI, UK. It was designed to complement, embody and/or reflect the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

We used the Cambridge English Dictionary to reference and validate the vocabulary used in our tests higher than B1. For our lower-level tests (i.e., A1 – B1), we used the vocabulary lists developed by Cambridge English. The Cambridge English Vocabulary Lists include vocabulary from the Council of Europe's Threshold (1990) specification and other vocabulary which corpus evidence shows is high frequency.
