Can one take the IELTS test on a computer?

Can one take the IELTS test on a computer?

Yes. IELTS is available in two formats:
  1. Computer-delivered IELTS: The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are completed on a computer, while the Speaking test is conducted either in person or via video call.
  2. Paper-based IELTS: All sections are written by hand on paper, with the Speaking test conducted face-to-face with an examiner.
Both formats are accepted equally and follow the same content, scoring, and timing (except for the Listening section, which may vary slightly in timing).
