Why are the webinars, symposia and other teacher training programmes called Continuous Professional Development (CPD) on your site and in your marketing material and how do these programmes contribute towards a teacher’s professional development?

We call our webinars, symposia and other teacher training programmes Continuous Professional Development (CPD) because that is the universal term used to describe the learning activities professionals, including teachers, engage in when trying to develop their abilities. All engagements of academic nature support CPD, from educational events (e.g., seminars and conferences) to training courses (e.g., workshops, webinars and online eLearning programmes). It can also include sharing best practice techniques and even reading books or articles in order to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in education. We believe that by taking advantage of the products and participating in the activities we offer, teachers can continuously enhance their skills and, as a result, ensure that their academic and practical qualifications do not become outdated and their mandatory annual CPD requirements are met.
